Since the birth of Jeremiah, he has been nothing but an inspiration for me as he grows up. There are so many reasons why I’m inspired thanks to Jeremiah.
- Enjoy the simple things in life
- Appreciate what you have in life
- Love and Trust
- Follow your Dreams
Thanks to him, I am the best father I can be and I remind myself that it’s the simple things in life that matter and those things will bring all of the happiness in my life. Just seeing that great smile on his face for the simple things that I do for him makes me incredibly happy. Simply spending time with him, taking him to the park, reading a book to him, or just simply being goofy with him all mean so much to me. These moments always keep me inspired to keep doing what I’m doing in his life.
That smile on his face also reminds me I don’t have to spend money, go overboard, or go all out just to make someone happy. It’s the simple things in life that create great, everlasting memories for him as he grows up.
Not surprisingly, my son inspires me to appreciate what I have in life. Yes, I’m a single father, working nonstop to provide for us, but no matter what, my son is always happy and proud of me. He may not have every single toy in the world or a big house to live in, but he definitely appreciates all that I do for him. He has taught me to never forget to appreciate all the little things we have in our life.
In addition to not taking things for granted, Jeremiah inspires me is to love and trust. In a way, I wish more children were raised like this, to always love one another. I promise you the world would be so great. As I’ve seen from most children, they grow to trust people and show love to one another unless that person gives them a reason not to. Children grow up seeing nothing but the good in other people and the best in what they can offer to this world. We as parents should never take that away from a child. Thanks to Jeremiah, I’m very inspired to love my neighbor and to see the good in other people always.
Thanks to Jeremiah, I am reminded to keep pushing towards my goals every day and to not give up on them. You are never too young or in my case too old to do anything in life. According to my son, I can be anything when I grow up. That inspires me to keep chasing my dreams as well.
Jeremiah definitely has a bright future ahead of him and I’m very proud of him. He may look up to me as a big inspiration right now, but he has no idea how much he inspires me every single day.
Children definitely teach us parents lessons all the time and I’m very thankful for that
