You were then and are now the greatest man I will ever know. The older I got the more I found myself thinking what would Dad do in any situation. Usually the convo in my head starts as “well dad always said”. The lessons you taught me  growing up  never seemed that important until I found myself a father as well. I may not have always liked what you saying or doing at the time. The older I got I found those things would make more and more sense. Thanks for late games of one on one till the street light came on. Thanks for still being the man I can call when the weight on my shoulders seems unbearable. I pray that one day my kids look at me with the same admiration and awe that I look at you with today. I’ve been told many times in life “Ken your a good man” my reply was and always be  “My dad’s a good man, I’m just trying to catch up to him”. Thanks Dad for being my dad when lots of black men didn’t want to be dads. Thank you for choosing me over the world. Dad, coach, trainer, mentor, and dragon slayer you the best I swear.

Happy Fathers Day
Love You forever plus one!
Love your son K.J.
