In a world without superheroes, I’ll be there,
Unconditionally with powers to care.
I’ll be there to protect him in his times of need,
Right by his side quicker than any superhuman speed.
If he falls I’ll be there with open arms easing his pain with a kiss,
I’ll catch him without a web or using powers of telekinesis,
When he feels pain I’ll be there before a second glance,
Without feeling the need to wear my trousers under my underpants.
No cape nor special powers, no lasers beams,
No clothes due to green muscles ripping at the seams.
No need to wear a mask to hide my identity,
I’ll be his very own superhero by being the best father I can be.
